Axial's Frontline Management course reflects the role of individuals who are responsible for the first line of management in a wide range of organisational and industry contexts.

At the completion of the Certificate IV in Frontline Management course, you will be equipped to provide leadership and guidance to others and take responsibility for the effective functioning and performance of your team and its work outcomes. 

Who is this course designed for?

The course suits people who may have existing qualifications or technical skills in any given vocation or profession, yet require skills or recognition in supervisory functions.

Axial's Certificate IV in Business (Frontline Management) is made up of the following 10 units:

• BSBOHS407A Monitor a safe workplace
• BSBWOR404A Develop work priorities
• BSBMGT403A Implement continuous improvement
• BSBADM502B Manage meeting
• BSBINN301A Promote innovation in a team environment
• BSBLED401A Develop teams and individuals
• BSBCUS401A Coordinate implementation of customer service strategies

Course Length

Completed within 24 months.

Delivery Mode 

We have a range of options to suit the needs of our students:

• Online learning with assessment uploaded online
• Classroom learning and assessment (minimum numbers required)
• Workplace delivery (minimum numbers required) 

Some units will be delivered singularly in a designated session and others delivered in clusters.  From a selection of dates, you will have to choose an assessment day that suits you to achieve competency. 

Assessment Requirements 

Assessment will consist of individual or clustered units of competencies, whereby the student will display their theoretical and practical ability to a standard where the trainer can deem them competent.

Career Pathways

Career opportunities that exist for Frontline Management graduates include team leader, supervisor, leading hand and coordinator. 

Recognition of Prior Learning

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is ideal for people without any formal qualifications.   No matter how, when or where you acquired your skills, you can still receive a full or partial qualification based on your experience gained through various work or life situations.
