The Mine Site Safety Supervisor course covers safety management and legal responsibilities regarding OH&S and mining legislation. It will teach you how to isolate and minimise risk at your work site.

This course is ideal for site safety representatives and supervisors who are looking to enhance their safety qualifications and ensure they have a clear understanding of the Queensland Government Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Act and Regulation and Coal Mining Safety and Health Act and Regulation.

Includes copies of the current Queensland Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Act and Regulation and Coal Mining Safety and Health Act and Regulation.

Delivery Mode

Delivered and assessed at Axial's premises in a classroom environment.

A light morning tea and lunch will be provided during the delivery of this training program.  Vegetarian options can be catered for, providing notification is received prior to the commencement of the training program.  Any other dietary needs cannot be accommodated and are responsibility of the learner.

The Mine Site Safety Supervisor course provides credit towards Certificate IV in Surface Coal Mining.
